Review of DVD Squeeze by DVD-Copy-Review.Net:

DVD Squeeze is a compression application to compress your DVD movies (with or without the menus and bonus material) to a CD to be played in a VCD compatible DVD player or hard drive. The greatest benefit of using DVD Squeeze is the compression capability. You can compress a long DVD to fit on one CD with above average quality. It is easy to install but has somewhat flawed documentation.

This product does an excellent job of ripping the movie and compressing it to DIVX. The only thing wrong with this product is that the burning software has some errors. DVD Squeeze also comes with information on how to backup Playstation 2 games onto a CD-R.

The startup menu for this product was clearly marked and easy to understand, until you reached the software portion. Unless you have read the manual and understand the terms like DVIX and MPEG, these programs will be very confusing. DVD Squeeze also doesn't have any contact information or technical support available from their website.

Extras:

DVD Squeeze comes with some extra software. Temp Toolbox works as an evidence eraser to allow you to surf the net and at the same time, wipe away the tracks you leave. This is good software if you need to hide where you have traveled to on the internet from others who may venture onto your PC.

DVD Squeeze also offers another bundled package for an extra $30.00. This includes the DVD Squeeze software, DVD to DVD copying software, Temp Toolbox, CD to MP3 ripping software, PopupStomper to block popups that plague surfers, MP3 Speed which acts as a Peer 2 Peer download accelerator, Playstation 2 copy directions, and finally Spector Revealer which identifies and removes spy software that your employer may have installed on your computer.

Summary:

Alot of the bundled software that comes with DVD Squeeze we considered to be rather useless and more of just a ploy to attract people to purchase their software so we didn't take any of it into account. The software itself had some flaws, especially with the burning portion. The compression was above average and combined with good cd/DVD burning software (such as Nero) this software could be effective. Neverless this software is not an effective all-in-one package.
